Thematic Groups

Thematic groups are spaces where we reflect and discuss the key issues and initiatives of Médecins du Monde. They bring together volunteers and employees of MdM, in France and abroad, and external experts, who all have an expertise on the thematic. The groups meet three to four times a year. They share their experiences and information taken from field research on the issues and challenges we face in our operations and in our advocacy work. They contribute in the definition of MdM’s global strategy and priorities.
There are 5 thematic groups, each matching a Médecins du Monde political battle and a type of programme on the field. A sixth group, on the issue of humanitarian access, is currently being set up.
