Board meeting

On 13 September 2024, the Board has unanimously decided to open its monthly meetings to the public, as it is the case in other organisations or national/local political bodies.
You will now be able to follow internal political debates both remotely and in person, live or in replay, in French and English. Participation is not mandatory (it is based on voluntary interest, in agreement with line managers for employees*).
Public speaking and questions will only be available for the usual speakers (Board members, directors, official guests). Moreover, the Board will still have the option to meet in private when addressing topics requiring confidentiality.
This approach is part of a series of measures reflecting a desire for change in order to:
– Improve transparency within our institution;
– Strengthen the relationships between the Board and the field;
– Reinforce engagement;
– Promote membership and organisational dynamism;
– Ensure accountability for the Board’s discussions and decisions, which bind the organisation and its stakeholders.
The Board’s meetings, agenda and topics will be communicated in advance. This new and unprecedented format will undergo successive trials and adjustments to ensure it is as functional as possible.
